Trends

Auditoro tracks your site's health over time, letting you monitor improvements, catch regressions, and demonstrate progress to stakeholders.

Health Score History

Each scan records your health score, building a history you can view as:

  • Graph - Visual timeline showing score changes
  • Table - List of scans with scores and dates

Reading the Graph

  • Upward trend - Your fixes are working
  • Downward trend - New issues being introduced
  • Stable line - Site health is consistent
  • Sudden drops - May indicate a deployment issue

Track how issues change over time:

Issue Count Over Time

See the total number of open issues across scans. Decreasing counts show progress.

Issues by Severity

View trends for each severity level:

  • Critical issues trending down is highest priority
  • Caution issues should follow
  • Advisory issues last

Issues by Category

Track specific problem areas:

  • SEO issues over time
  • Performance trends
  • Security improvements

Comparing Scans

Compare two scans to see exactly what changed:

  1. Go to TrendsCompare
  2. Select two scan dates
  3. View differences:
    • New issues introduced
    • Issues resolved
    • Score change

This is useful for:

  • Measuring impact of fixes
  • Identifying regression causes
  • Reporting on progress

After Fixes

  1. Make your changes
  2. Run a new scan
  3. Compare to the previous scan
  4. Verify issues are resolved

Weekly Reviews

  2. Note any score changes
  3. Investigate regressions
  4. Plan fixes for next week

Best Practices

Set a Baseline

After your first scan, note your starting score. This becomes your baseline for measuring improvement.

Track After Changes

Any time you make significant site changes:

  1. Run a scan before changes
  2. Make your changes
  3. Run a scan after
  4. Compare results

Regular Monitoring

  • Active sites - Scan weekly
  • Stable sites - Scan weekly or monthly
  • After deployments - Scan immediately

Set Goals

Define targets:

  • "Reach health score of 90"
  • "Eliminate all critical issues"
  • "Fix 10 issues per week"

Track progress toward these goals using trends.
